ABOUT JOAN BRANCH

Joan Branch is a Cruise Planner for World Tours and Cruises dba Cruise Planners.  World Tours and Cruises is a full service travel agency that books cruises and tours all over the world for groups and individuals.  Weekly, on Tuesdays, at 2 PM EST Joan is Co-Host with Gina Alzate for the World Tours and Cruises Talk Radio Show.

Joan is a student of World Culture and loves traveling the world. She has traveled to 27 countries on 5 continents.

Joan has resided in Anchorage, Alaska for the past 25 years, and now, after retirement, spends part of the year in Yakima, Washington, where her Grandchildren live.  Her own family includes her 4 children and 4 Grandsons, who all love to travel.  She has enjoyed planning many 3 generation cruises and trips for her family’s travel to exotic locations.

While raising her children, Joan and her family also hosted Rotary Exchange Students from Spain, Venezuela and Ecuador.  As owner of a Bed and Breakfast in Anchorage, the Branch family hosted travelers from all over the world.  Some guests who are especially remembered were from Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, Egypt, India and Germany.

Joan is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage with a BE in Secondary Education with a Foreign Language Endorsement in Spanish.

She is retired from the State of Alaska.  Her previous positions were as Mentor Coordinator and Teacher for the Alaska Military Youth Academy, Fort Richardson, Alaska.

When not traveling or planning trips abroad, Joan enjoys researching her family’s ancestry.
